Blue Theology Internship: Work with us Summer 2023!
Are you a seminarian or college/graduate student interested in creation justice? Are you curious about the overlap between ocean conservation and theology? Creation Justice Ministries' Blue Theology outposts are recruiting interns for Summer 2023!
A summer internship with Blue Theology will include the following responsibilities: helping to lead youth groups as part of the Blue Theology summer program: working with a team to host groups, lead educational ocean experiences, and invite students into opportunities for spiritual growth. Empower and encourage Blue Theology students to participate in ocean advocacy/creation justice within their own faith communities. Other responsibilities may include writing, photo/video documentation, and communication with Blue Theology partners.
How to Apply:
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your resume, preferred outpost location, any relevant experience, and what you hope to gain from this internship/why you're interested in applying.
At Blue Theology, our volunteers embody a sense of community. Our valued volunteers do many things: leading art workshops, making pancakes, teaching surf lessons, joining our pilgrimage to the aquarium, sharing stories, or breaking bread with us. If you have some time to lend, a workshop to propose, or an idea to share, let's chat! We love creativity and collaboration.
Are you part of a marine biology or eco-theology organization? Do you engage students with God's marine creation? We currently partner with several organizations, (Asilomar State Beach, the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History's LiMPETS program), etc). If your organization has any interest in collaborating with Blue Theology, please let us know!
